Bhubaneswar, June 30 -- At least three people were killed and 50 others were injured in a stampede that broke out at the Gundicha temple in Puri district of Odisha in the early hours of Sunday during the ongoing Rath Yatra festivities, officials said. The incident took place around 4am when a huge crowd of devotees converged near the temple, 3km away from the main Jagannath temple, to witness the Rath Yatra festivities.
