India, July 12 -- As the sticky monsoon leads to increased humidity, you need to refine your skincare routine to adapt to the seasonal changes. Sharing small modifications that can make you feel comfortable in your skin, dermatologist Dr Anjana Mohan says, "No matter your skin type, you can add some basic steps to help during humid weather like cleansing to remove sweat and grime, hydrating with the right kind of moisturiser and never skipping on sunscreen." For those with oily skin, the extra moisture in the air can lead to increased oil production, leavingyour face shiny and pores clogged. To battle this, go for a lightweight gel moisturiser that will hydrate the skin without leaving it greasy. People with dry skin can feel tight, even in humid air. Opt for a moisturiser with emollients that help seal in moisture and hyaluronic acid. Adding a rich night cream to your nighttime routine will also make a big difference. With combination skin, the challenges of an oily T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) and dry cheeks can be combated with a lightweight moisturiser. Humidity can trigger flare-ups due to pollution, sweat, and harsh ingredients. Simply reduce the layers - use fewer products, avoid fragrances, and stick to calming ingredients....
