VARANASI, Nov. 15 -- Former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav's BMW car was damaged after it collided with a three-wheeler in Karnadadi area of the city on Thursday, police said, adding that the car was on its way to Vrindavan from Patna. Tej Pratap is the elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad. A police officer said Tej's driver Jaya Pal and his personal assistant Srijan were going to Vrindavan by car to bring back Tej Pratap to Patna. As the car passed through Karnadadi area, it collided with the three-wheeler. Subsequently, they (driver and PA) got off the car and asked the auto driver Rajendra Sonkar to pay a compensation of Rs 1.8 lakh for getting the car repaired. It led to an altercation. In the meantime, police reached the spot. They brought both the parties to the police station where they reached a compromise. Inspector, Rohania police, Parashuram Tripathi confirmed it.
