New Delhi, June 25 -- Combative politics took centre-stage as the debate on the President's speech started in Parliament on Monday. Minister of State and first-time parliamentarian Pratap Chandra Sarangi asked the Congress to apologise to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for building a false narrative and not giving credit for his contributions while Congress' floor leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhury hit back, saying the government is "addicted to compliments" and "driven by manipulation"....
