SHIMLA, Oct. 11 -- After undergoing medical treatment for 21 days, former chief minister (CM) Virbhadra Singh, 85, was discharged from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, on Thursday. He reached Shimla by state helicopter and later drove to his private residence Holy Lodge. "I would like to thank CM Jai Ram Thakur for providing state helicopter from Chandigarh to Shimla," Singh posted on his social networking account .
