India, May 15 -- For an emerging economy like India, gaining massive traction from the global IT investors is an achievement. In FY 2018-19, Indian IT firms generated the highest ever revenue of US$ 181 billion, as reported by India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF). Such growth has made HR and staffing solutions providers to expect the creation of 2, 50,000 jobs in the IT sector by the end of the current year. The question on the suitability of IT students with their limited skill set for these jobs remains unanswered. In 2018, Aspiring Minds, an employability assessment company, showed the darker side of employment scenario in the field of software development with shocking statistics.
