Why most relationships don't end due to lack of love

ong-term relationships naturally evolve, but it's often the small, everyday moments of connection that keep love alive. When those moments start fading, the bond begins to weaken - even when love is still there. Dating coach Jillian Turecki shared a video on June 8 explaining how "micro rejections"- like checking your phone during dinner or not truly listening - can silently build up over time and cause emotional distance. "Most relationships don't end because we stop loving someone, but because we lose connection, she said, adding, "With that, the motivation to meet each other's needs fades."
Turecki describes it as the subtle ways we dismiss our partners without realising it. "It's the small moments - glancing at your phone mid-conversation, not making eye contact, being emotionally unavailable. These rejections stack up, creating a disconnect."
"Relationships need daily connection - eye contact, kindness, and presence," Turecki added in the caption. "When we stop nurturing the relationship, gaps form. And over time, those gaps make us feel unseen and unloved."...
