India, April 21 -- With the pandemic spelling doom for economies around the world, small businesses are struggling the most. Small Instagram boutiques, who depend on delivery partners, are facing the brunt of the lockdown. "Our delivery process is closed since March 20... We can't expect customers to order and block their money months in advance amid the ambiguity," says Dipti Gupta, founder of The Velvet Box, a home furnishing store. Kolkata-based apparel designer Shamima Akhtar, who runs Myraa, says that she has been taking orders during the lockdown but is unable to ship. "Orders have decreased since lockdown began. But I have to pay my employees, electricity bills...," she shares....
