India, Jan. 26 -- I have memories of watching the parade on my father's shoulders. He was running from pillar to post for my paralysis treatment and had brought me to Delhi for a check-up. I couldn't walk much, but he still took me to the parade. Life completed a full circle when the most prestigious thing happened to me in 2017 - the Haryana contingent erected my statue (on the state tableau) as a symbol of women empowerment. That's a huge memory....
