Neha Dhupia's simple 'desi bedtime drink' to beat bloating
India, Jan. 16 -- Actor Neha Dhupia, a fitness enthusiast, often shares glimpses of her diet and workout routine on Instagram. In a new Reel, the 45-year-old actor showcased her bedtime ritual: a warm drink that helps beat bloating.
Calling it a "warm, fuzzy drink right before you go to bed," Neha says it is "literally my night-time drink". She adds that it helps ease bloating, improve digestion, and promote better sleep.
The recipe is simple: boiled water infused with saunf, ajwain, jeera, chopped ginger, and lemon (optional). The mixture is boiled for about five minutes before being served as a nightcap. "There you go, your nighttime anti-bloating drink is ready. It works like magic for me. Looks and tastes good," she can be heard saying.
In the caption, Neha credited her nutritionist, Richa Gangani, for recommending it. She also urged followers to consult a dietician, nutritionist, or physician before incorporating it into the daily routine.
Greata Sherene Robinson, executive nutritionist at Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, Chennai, shares that bloating and post-meal fullness are common digestive complaints.
