India, July 11 -- As sticky monsoon leads to humidity, you need to refine your skincare routine to adapt to seasonal changes. Sharing small modifications that can make you feel comfortable in your skin, dermatologist Dr Anjana Mohan says, "No matter your skin type, you can add some basic steps to help during humid weather like cleansing to remove sweat and grime, hydrating with the right kind of moisturiser and never skipping on sunscreen." For those with oily skin, the extra moisture in the air can lead to increased oil production, leaving the face shiny and pores clogged. Go for a lightweight gel moisturiser to hydrate the skin without being greasy. People with dry skin can still feel tight even in humid air. Use a moisturiser with emollients that help seal moisture in and hyaluronic acid. A rich night cream will also make a big difference. With combination skin, the challenges of an oily T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) and dry cheeks can be combated with a lightweight moisturiser. Humidity can trigger flare-ups due to pollution, sweat and harsh ingredients. Use fewer products, avoid fragrances and stick to calming ingredients....
