To ensure your look stays flawless, makeup artist Monika Khullar, head trainer at Anastasia Beverly Hills, shares five easy tips.
Clean, hydrate and start with a mattifying primer to control excess oil. Skip heavy layers and instead opt for a lightweight, long-wear foundation or tinted formula that won't smudge easily.
Choose waterproof and smudge-proof products for your base, blush and concealer. Use cream-to-powder textures and lightly dust the T-zone with setting powder to keep shine away without looking cakey.
Apply an eye primer for staying power. Gel or liquid liners work better than pencils, and waterproof mascara is non-negotiable. For shimmer, press onto lids with fingers so it adheres well.
Secure brows with gel to prevent fading. For lips, opt for matte liquid lipsticks over creamy formulas. These last longer and resist transfer even through long dance hours.
Seal your look with a matte setting spray that hydrates. Keep mini touch-up essentials handy. Stock up yout clutch with blotting papers, a powder puff, lip-cheek tints, and travel-sized setting sprays. These will help absorb sweat and revive makeup without disturbing it....
