Achieving dewy, radiant skin for your D-day, however, takes more than just wishful thinking; it's about choosing the right facial treatments at the right time. "Brides can absolutely achieve that radiant glow with the right professional treatments, but it takes time and consistency," explains Dr Khushboo Jha, chief dermatologist and consultant at Metro Hospital. Here's a detailed bridal skincare timeline to help brides choose the right facials: "Go for medifacials such as chemical peels that help to resurface the skin slowly. Mild acids such as lactic acid or mandelic acid are used for the same," says Dr Khushboo. With two months to go, it's time to focus on targetted concerns such as pigmentation, acne scars, or fine lines. "Carbon facials work well for oily and acne-prone skin, while laser toning helps with pigmentation. Brides in their late 20s and 30s can also consider collagen-stimulating facials like Forma, or RF microneedling, which tighten skin and refine pores," she suggests. Dr Khushboo recommends, "Vitamin C-infused facials, oxy facials, or glutathione-based medifacials deliver instant radiance and plumpness." In the final week before the wedding, she suggests keeping it even simpler: "A mild enzyme polish or sheet mask-based medifacial adds that final dewy finish without risk."...
