India, Feb. 16 -- Pallavi Joshi, who was seen in The Tashkent Files last year, says that the reason behind female actors in films having a limited shelf life as compared to their male counterparts can be attributed to the age at which women start their acting careers. "Women start their careers earlier than men do," she says, adding, "Rekha, Karisma Kapoor, Hema Malini and Dimple Kapadia were popular actors back in the day and they were at the top of their game when they were 16 or 17 years old. But that's not the case with male actors."...
