Sri Lanka, April 18 -- China is supplying weapons to Russia, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

His comments come days after Ukrainian soldiers reportedly captured Chinese nationals fighting for the Russian army.

Foreign media reported that the President said, "Today, we have general information from the Security Service (of Ukraine), from intelligence about gunpowder, artillery," during a briefing in Kyiv.

"I think we will be able to say in detail next week that we believe that Chinese representatives are engaged in the production of some weapons on the territory of Russia," he added.
