Sri Lanka, June 19 -- A 20-year-old man from Thallawila died yesterday (18) after his motorcycle veered off the Kandakuda by-road in Kalpitiya.

Reports indicate the rider lost control, causing the bike to crash into a house fence.

He sustained critical injuries in the incident and passed away shortly after being admitted to Kalpitiya Hospital.

Police have placed the remains at the Kalpitiya Hospital mortuary, and further investigations into the incident are underway.
