Sri Lanka, Feb. 3 -- A 65-year-old man died instantly this afternoon (02) when a concrete block fell on his head while working on renovations at a Hindu temple, Bandarawela Police reported.

The deceased, a resident of Craigwatte Upper Division, Bandarawela, was reportedly removing old parts of the temple when the accident occurred.

Bandarawela Police are conducting further investigations.
