Sri Lanka, Feb. 6 -- A woman has been admitted to the Nuwara Eliya District General Hospital following injuries sustained in a collision between a luxury bus and a lorry. The incident occurred at approximately 11 am today (06) in the Blackfull area on the Nuwara Eliya-Hatton main road.

Reports indicate that the lorry, traveling from Nuwara Eliya to Blackfull, swerved carelessly across the road and collided with the bus, which was traveling from Hatton to Nuwara Eliya. Both vehicles sustained damage in the crash.

The Nuwara Eliya Police have launched an investigation into the accident.
