Sri Lanka, Feb. 6 -- Police arrested a 31-year-old woman in possession of over 17 kilograms of hashish, with an estimated street value exceeding 200 million rupees. The detection occurred during a raid on an apartment complex located on Nirmala Mawatha in Boralesgamuwa.

Authorities discovered the narcotics stock within the residential premises following a tip-off. The suspect remains in custody as investigators work to determine the origin of the haul and identify potential links to wider drug trafficking networks.
