Sri Lanka, April 2 -- Wattala Police have launched an investigation following a report of an alleged suicide attempt at a lodge on Hekitta Road, Wattala. Upon arrival, officers found an unconscious woman in the bathroom and attempted to resuscitate her.

During the search, police discovered she was in possession of 6.1 grams of the drug Ice and subsequently arrested her. The 35-year-old suspect, a resident of Colombo 15, was found to have connections with a drug dealer abroad.

Further questioning revealed that the dealer had given her a T-56 firearm and 113 rounds of ammunition for safekeeping. Acting on her instructions, police recovered the weapon and ammunition from a house in Ragama belonging to her second husband.
