Srilanka, Nov. 15 -- Hirana Police arrested a woman allegedly linked to the drug network of alleged organised crime figure and drug trafficker, Salindu Malshitha Gunaratne, alias 'Panadura Kudu Salindu. '

The arrest was made at a house on Rukkaha Road, Arukgoda, and 'Ice' (Crystal Methamphetamine) narcotics valued at over Rs.1 million were seized. The suspect was found in possession of 50 grams of 'Ice', along with small packets used for packaging, an electronic scale, a smartphone used for trafficking, and Rs. 36,500 in cash believed to be proceeds from the illegal trade.

According to the Police, the woman who had recently moved into a rented house in the area two months ago was engaged in drug trafficking.
