Sri Lanka, Aug. 29 -- The wife of organised crime figure Backhoe Saman, who was arrested with Kehelbaddara Padme in Indonesia, is currently being questioned by Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officers at Katunayake Airport.

The questioning is being conducted by the CID's airport unit. The woman, accompanied by her child, was brought to Sri Lanka on a SriLankan Airlines flight, UL 365, from Jakarta, Indonesia, at 5.50 p.m. today.

She has reportedly admitted to CID officials that she is the wife of Backhoe Saman.
