Sri Lanka, March 7 -- The Acting Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Weligama Police Station has been interdicted over his alleged involvement in a 2023 shooting incident, the Police Media Division announced.

He surrendered to court on Tuesday (04) following arrest warrants issued against him and several other police officers.
