Sri Lanka, July 6 -- The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning for fishing and naval communities, advising caution in the sea areas off the coast from Chilaw to Colombo, Galle, and Matara, as well as from Kankasanthurai to Mullaitivu and Trincomalee, as these areas could be rough at times.

Isolated rain showers are also possible from Puttalam to Colombo, Galle, and Matara. Wind speeds could increase to between 55 and 60 kilometres per hour in sea areas from Chilaw to Mannar and Kankasanthurai, and from Matara to Hambantota and Pottuvil.
