Sri Lanka, July 14 -- The Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory for the sea areas from Chilaw to Mannar via Puttalam, and from Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota.

The advisory states that wind speeds in these areas could increase to between 55 and 65 kmph.

Furthermore, the Department of Meteorology has warned that sea waves in these regions could rise significantly, with the potential for them to reach coastal areas.
