Sri Lanka, Feb. 27 -- Renowned actor and make-up artist Wasantha Wittachchi has passed away at the age of 65.

He had been ill for some time and passed away while receiving treatment in hospital. Wittachchi was a seasoned artist with years of experience in Sri Lankan cinema, stage, and teledrama.
