Sri Lanka, Jan. 8 -- A verdict regarding the case filed against former Deputy Minister Sarana Gunawardena concerning the alleged misappropriation of over Rs. 120 million is set to be delivered on February 5. The Colombo High Court issued this directive in relation to funds provided by a Chinese company intended for the welfare of 35 families displaced by a water project in the Karasnagoda area of Attanagalla.

Colombo High Court Judge Buddhika C. Ragala took up the matter today. Upon considering the submissions, the Judge fixed the date for the pronouncement of the order.
