Sri Lanka, April 21 -- In a significant announcement during the commemoration event for the Easter Sunday Attacks at St. Anthony's Shrine in Kochchikade, the Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, revealed that the Vatican, through the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, has included the names of 167 Catholics who tragically lost their lives in the bombings of St. Anthony's Shrine, Kochchikade, and St. Sebastian's Church, Katuwapitiya, in its catalogue of the Witnesses of the Faith.

The commemoration event is currently underway and is being attended by religious leaders, diplomats, and the families of the victims.
