Sri Lanka, Feb. 18 -- Overall revenue for the Uva Provincial Council in 2025 reached a record level of 4 billion rupees, exceeding expected targets, according to Uva Province Deputy Chief Secretary (Finance) B.L. Kularatne.

The Deputy Chief Secretary revealed this information during a press conference held yesterday (17) at the Uva Provincial Council auditorium, chaired by Provincial Chief Secretary Anusha Gokula Fernando.

He pointed out that the council's total revenue grew to 4 billion rupees by the end of 2025, rising from 3.3 billion rupees in 2024.
