Sri Lanka, May 12 -- China and the United States have reached a deal on tariffs.
This is according to US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, following a second day of highly secretive talks in Switzerland between both parties.
Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng chose to characterise it as an important consensus.
Both China and the United States have said that they've made progress in trade talks between the two countries in Switzerland.
The US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent described the discussions as "productive and constructive," while China's Vice Premier He Lifeng said the talks were "in-depth" and "candid".
