Sri Lanka, Aug. 28 -- The US Embassy in Sri Lanka and the Central Cultural Fund's Maritime Archaeology Unit are to host an exhibition and symposium to highlight the documentation and preservation of artifacts from the Godawaya Shipwreck.

The event will be held at the BMICH, Colombo, from September 3 to 5.

According to the US Embassy, the exhibition serves as a reminder of the Indo-Pacific's vital role in maintaining peace and security while safeguarding sovereign rights. It highlighted that this is a shared interest for both the US and Sri Lanka.
