This decision follows recent discussions aimed at finding common ground on shared interests.
The UNP has proposed creating a formal committee to ensure effective coordination with the SJB and other opposition parties.
Speaking on the matter, UNP Chairman, former minister Wajira Abeywardana, confirmed that the party has resolved to implement the agreements reached during these talks. He emphasised that the collaboration with the SJB will be both transparent and constructive.
