Sri Lanka, Feb. 24 -- The United National Party (UNP) will brief the international community regarding what they describe as political revenge by the current government against former President Ranil Wickremesinghe. UNP Deputy Leader Harin Fernando announced the move during a press conference held today (23) at the political office on Flower Road, Colombo.

Fernando stated that Wickremesinghe rescued the country during a period of extreme difficulty. He urged the government-which he claims is claiming credit for Wickremesinghe's achievements-to recognise the consequences of their actions.
