Sri Lanka, April 27 -- Luggage belonging to devotees who participated in the recent Sri Dalada Maligawa pilgrimage will be returned this week, according to officials from the Civil Security Department.
The department, which oversaw the storage and return of pilgrims' belongings during the sacred event, has announced that a number of unclaimed items remain safely stored at designated handover points.
A special program has been arranged to facilitate the return of these items.
The return initiative will take place in front of the Joy Boat Service at the Kandy Lake.
The Exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic drew to a close this evening (27).
