Sri Lanka, Feb. 16 -- United Kingdom Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow (17) for a one-day official visit.
The British High Commission stated that he will engage in discussions with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Prime Minister Dr Harini Amarasuriya, and Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Herath.
Following the humanitarian aid provided by England to communities affected by Cyclone Ditwah, the Deputy Prime Minister intends to observe the ongoing support programs for those impacted.
Additionally, he is set to sign the Global Campaign Charter for Child Care agreement.
The ceremony for this signing will take place tomorrow (17) at the United Nations office in Sri Lanka.
