Sri Lanka, May 14 -- The official website of the University Grants Commission (UGC) has crashed.

According to Charuka Damunupola, Senior Information Engineer of the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Response Forum, the crash is due to an ongoing update.

He stated that efforts are underway and the website is expected to be restored later today (14).
