Sri Lanka, Feb. 3 -- The Nugegoda Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau arrested two women yesterday (02) in connection with an incident involving death threats and damage to a lawyer's vehicle near the Gangodawila Magistrate's Court.

The suspects, aged 31 and 55 and residents of Puhulwelle, face charges of unlawful assembly, wrongful restraint, criminal intimidation, and mischief. According to Police Headquarters, a team of investigators took the women into custody on Monday night. They are scheduled to be produced before the Gangodawila Magistrate's Court today (03).
