Sri Lanka, Feb. 23 -- Two suspects arrested in connection with the murder of Ganemulla Sanjeewa have been remanded until March 7, following an order by Colombo Additional Magistrate Pavithra Sanjeewani.

The suspects are Athurugiriya Police Constable Hasitha Roshan and Don Janaka Udaya Kumara, the driver who transported the shooter from Kaduwela to the Colombo Magistrate's Court.

Police reported that the van used for the escape was in the constable's possession. So far, five suspects have been arrested, including two police constables. Another constable from the Negombo Divisional Crime Investigation Bureau was arrested for allegedly having contact with a woman who accompanied the shooter.
