Sri Lanka, March 27 -- Two people died when a rubber latex bowser traveling from Kalawana to Baduraliya plunged into a 30-foot ravine near Kodippilikanda Saman Devalaya on the Baduraliya-Kalawana road.

The accident occurred around midnight yesterday (26). Another person injured in the incident has been admitted to Kalawana Hospital.

The deceased were employees of a rubber latex factory in Bulathsinhala, identified as residents of Bulathsinhala and Rambukkana.

Kalawana police suspect the bowser may have lost control and skidded on the steep slopes of the area.
