Sri Lanka, Jan. 17 -- The driver and a passenger of a van sustained serious injuries and were admitted to the Dickoya Base Hospital following a collision today(17).

Hatton Police reported that the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the Kudagama junction on the Hatton-Nuwara Eliya main road.

The collision took place when a lorry traveling from Hatton toward Kudagama attempted to turn into a side road, resulting in a crash with a van traveling from Dayagama toward Hatton.
