Sri Lanka, April 12 -- Two bodies were discovered today (12) in separate locations near Hali Ela town, according to the Police Media Division.

The deceased individuals, aged 49 and 61, were found under unclear circumstances. One body was recovered from a drain along the Hali Ela-Ketawela road, while the other was found on a road near the railway station on the Hali Ela-Bandarawela road.

Police say the causes of death have yet to be determined. Both bodies have been placed at the Badulla Hospital for post-mortem examinations following the Magistrate's inquest.
