Sri Lanka, March 5 -- A woman and another individual have been arrested by Customs officers at Katunayake Airport for attempting to smuggle a stock of milk powder tins containing vitamins used for body whitening, valued at Rs. 1.8 million.

The suspects had illegally brought in 179 tins of milk powder from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, yesterday. The arrested woman is a resident of Kotahena, while the other suspect is from Negombo, according to Customs officials.
