Sri Lanka, April 13 -- Authorities have confirmed the deployment of additional buses to accommodate the surge of travelers heading to their hometowns this evening (13) for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. This initiative is aimed at facilitating smooth travel during the festive season.

Special train services have also been implemented as part of the New Year's transport plan, further expanding the available travel options.
