Sri Lanka, May 13 -- Four people were injured and admitted to the Galle National Hospital following a collision between a jeep and a train at the Kabalana railway crossing in Ahangama this afternoon (12).
Police report that the jeep collided with a train travelling from Beliatta to Kandy. T
The railway crossing where the accident occurred is equipped with flashing light signals.
There were six occupants in the jeep at the time of the incident, with four of them sustaining injuries.
The injured are residents of the Colombo area, and the Ahangama Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
