Sri Lanka, May 23 -- Three officers affiliated to the Department of Motor Traffic, including a Deputy Commissioner, have been arrested along with Rs. 4 million allegedly accepted as a bribe.

According to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, the arrests were made in Narahenpita.

Two assistant managers were also taken into custody along with the Deputy Commissioner.

The suspects are expected to be produced in court today.
