Sri Lanka, Feb. 24 -- Tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka crossed the half a million mark, reaching 505,751 as at February 22, reflecting strong early momentum for 2025.
Both January and February surpassed the 225,000 thresholds, with January recording 227,327 arrivals and February bringing in 228,424 visitors up to February 22, signaling a notable increase in inflows.
Arrivals were further boosted by the ongoing T20 cricket tournament, which attracted a significant number of visitors from cricket playing nations.
