Sri Lanka, April 1 -- The Western Province Three-Wheeler Drivers and Owners Association has announced that three-wheeler fares will not be revised despite the reduction in petrol prices from midnight yesterday.

Speaking at a media briefing today (01), Chairman Lalith Dharmasekara stated that rather than lowering fares, the government should focus on implementing formal regulations to ensure a more effective service for the public.

He also pointed out that the absence of a standardized fare system has led to varying charges across different parts of the country.
