Sri Lanka, July 12 -- Two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle reportedly shot at a three-wheeler near the Kosgoda junction.

Police confirmed that the three-wheeler driver was injured in the shooting and has been admitted to Balapitiya Hospital.

The injured individual is a 24-year-old resident of Kosgoda.

The motive behind the shooting and details regarding the suspects have not yet been revealed.

Kosgoda Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
