Sri Lanka, April 18 -- A three-story building, housing both a residence and a shop in Aluthgama, was ravaged by fire earlier today (18).Reports indicate that the blaze erupted this morning, prompting a swift response from the Aluthgama Police.Upon receiving an alert, police officers arrived at the scene and collaborated with the fire brigade to extinguish the fire.According to police, a jewellery and wood carving establishment operated within the building that was affected.
