Sri Lanka, Jan. 23 -- The Mahara Additional Magistrate, Bandara Ilangasinghe, has ordered the remand of three suspects until 27 January in connection with the alleged contract killing of a thirty-year-old man in Biyagama.

The suspects include two brothers from Kaduwela and another individual from the Malabe area, all allegedly involved in a calculated trap that led to the victim's death.

The victim was a resident of Homagama who had moved to a rented house in the Gemunu Mawatha area of Biyagama for work.

During the court proceedings, Police Sergeant Susantha (35328) of the Biyagama Police prosecution branch detailed the chilling nature of the crime.
